How lucky am I! Legoland opened right around my birthday, and I got to go. Kaylee and Cole came to with their Mommy and Daddy. It was our first family vacation, Grace and I showed them around our camper and we all had a very wet but awesome time.

Mamaw and Papa towed our bikes for us, don't they look cool!

No rain could stop our fun, we rode all over that campground.

The whole park has lego statues and fun things to do for kids our age. They had so many things for us to do and ride, I will show a few....

Can you see the guy in the plant?? It totally freaked Grace out, hahaha She wouldn't go near him, but I thought he was super silly.

We rode a two-story carousel, watch us go up and down. Yeehaw...

Next we watched a 4-D movie, I think the glasses make us look Cool. Wow did you see that, the Lego guy zoomed right past me, I think I can reach out and touch him...

Next was the Tower of Doom, let me flex my muscle and get ready for this... You ready Dad...arms up weeeee This is fun I am ready for the Big Boy Roller Coaster.

Yes mom really, I am ready, I want to go... see Kaylee is going, let's go mom pleeeeeasse

So off to the Roller Coaster we went, 2 four year olds went on their first roller coaster ride. I will let the picture explain for itself how Kaylee and I each felt a little differently about our first ride.

I was happy to get off that ride, whew, Dad next time I will sit with you instead, lets move on shall we...

Ah now this is more my speed, I feel the need... the need for speed!

I did so well they gave me a special Legoland Drivers License, can you believe it. Mom I can totally drive to school now, see I am legal. Since I did so well at driving on land I decided to take Mom and Grace on a luxury cruise. Hey look there is Kaylee and Aunt Lori, Ahoy there....

The park has a beautiful garden that used to be called Cypress Gardens. Well they should have named it Mosquito Heaven, wow those blood suckers were all through the gardens. Quick Grace smile and grab Kaylee and Cole, we have to run out of here...

We made it out of there just in time for a waterski show. The Legoland soliders beat the stinky Pirate! Argh... Yeah for the soldiers

Uncle Rich was so excited they had a fire academy action ride at the park that he challenged Daddy to a Fire/Police race! It was so much fun, but who won...it was a tie of course.

We had an awesome time, I can't wait to go back again!

Happy Birthday Sweet Grace

I am 2 and got to have 2 parties! One at school that had my favorite snack, cheese and crackers. Then mommy showed off her cakepop skills and made Sesame Street Cakepops for my friends. Chase, Kai and Mya got to come in to sing me happy birthday.

Then later I got to have my own special Tea Party! Everyone came out in their finest attire to eat and party. Mommy has been handing off her camera to Aunt Patricia and finally we have some pictures of her in them. Nice job Aunt Patricia, Papa and Mommy hard at work.

Chase kept the party going by playing some sweet beats on his drum set.

Grandma was taking a minute to look at all the pictures of me from that last year! I love a day all about me..... hehehe

After we ate we got to have craft time and make picture frames to take home, it was super fun and everyone made awesome frames. I think I will frame this picture of Mya's new silly smile, it makes me laugh.

My masterpiece is finished and Aunt Patricia likes it too, see how pretty it came out.

Grandma and Nana took a tea break in the park, well that was the set up mom had for the pictures.

Daddy helped Chase finish his frame, while mommy posed for her picture frame, what a goof.

Daddy got his birthday kisses in before I could run away. No Daddy No (giggling)

I got lots of wonderful presents and everyone was ready to help me open them! Thinking to myself, these are mine, mine all mine.....muhwahhhha no I will share later, much later

Look Cole I got a Barbie, see her, isn't she pretty. Oh thank you for my Birthday hug, I love you too.

I had the best birthday so far, and being 2 I already feel like a grown up, except I think passing gas or burping is hysterical. But hey so does my Papa so I guess I am a grown up.

At our Preschool we had "show us your Pet week", so mommy snapped some action shots of us and our favorite furry family members.

We have two very Furry and Funny dogs. Baker is the brown one and Copper is the black one. Baker is our kisser, well licky one, yuck. He loves to give you kiss and it makes me laugh.

Copper is our huggable puppy. Here Chase gives Copper a huge hug, I think Copper is smiling here too.

Oh Copper you are so handsome and loveable. I must give you a big hug. Kissy kissy

Hot Wheels and Cold Fish

I always have a great time when we get to go to GG's and Gpa's house. They always have so many fun things to do there, and our Gpa is a Master Fisherman. He is teaching us all his special tricks on how to catch fish on a pole while using bread as bait!

And you know what, it works! Check out my big fish here.

Grace decided to try it out fishing and GG came out to give her a few tips too.

Fishing was hard work so we took a break for a little swinging.

But we don't like to sit for to long, so mom hurry up and take my picture cause I feel the need, the need for speed! Oh and Grace already took off before we could get this picture taken. Cheese..

Daddy had a Cars theme party special just for him... Shhhh mommy had gotten a lighting McQueen pan and was dying to try out the Mater Cupcake she found. So that is how it became Daddy's special McQueen party.

He didn't mind, I mean shoot he is only 39, I think that is old but mommy says he acts like he is a kid so he would love the party.

The Delgado's were able to come on by for the BBQ and Uncle Scott handled the grill.

Happy Birthday Daddy, maybe next year when you are 40 you can have a big boy party.

I can't believe it was a year ago today that we all went out and had a Italian buffet, Mommy's last meal. Shortly after mommy put me down to bed, Grace decided it was a good time to make her entrance. Guess she wanted to be born 20 months to the day from me! I am so happy you are my baby sister. I love you, and so does mommy and daddy.

Boys and Dirt

Hello Big Boy Bed! I can pee in the potty and now I have a toddler bed! Mom is in the works of getting me a bunkbed, so this is my trainer for now. And I have to say I LOVE MY NEW JUNGLE ROOM! Mya turns 4 and we got to put the bounce house to good use immediately.

She had a Hello Kitty Party and all her friends came over to celebrate.

GG and Gpa came down, even Aunt Hazel came over to sing Happy Birthday!

Mommy is a silent ninja, she came up so quietly and grabbed us for this huge group hug...I love it.

We had all kinds of Mya's favorite foods, Chase likes the cheese balls the best!

Kai got a boo boo, but Gpa made it feel all better.

Park It

Can you believe that I am 29 months old and Grace is 9 months. She has offically been out of mommy's tummy just as long as in it! As you can imagine having two little ones makes for one busy household. But this day we decided to get away from all the humdrum of life and go to the park.

I got to bring my tricycle out and of course I wore my helmet. Safety first! My little legs pedaled as fast as they could, keep up daddy!

Mommy stayed behind snapping some pictures, she got to dust off her camera. Poor Grace was in the middle of her 3rd pink eye breakout! I haven't had one yet, but it doesn't look like fun.. Poor baby.

At the end of the trail was a playground, I left daddy guarding my bike while took to the slide... yipppeee

Sweaters that never go out of style

Many moons ago my Great Grandma made these sweaters for Daddy. But I don't believe he ever wore these, they are way too small for him to wear.

Great Grandma is a excellent knitter cause these beauties have lasted over 30 years and then some! Wow that is a lonnnng time. Wonder if my light up shoes will still work that long.

Thanks Nana for saving these for me. I love wearing them .

Brunch with the Bunnies and a few other animals

How lucky we were to be invited to Brunch for Easter with the Bunnies and a few of their friends. Our local nature center provided the venue.

They have lots of rescue animals that live there to get better and eventually go home once their boo boos heal. Wonder if they get a Dora band-aid like mommy give me when I have a boo boo?

Nana, Grandma, Papa, Aunt Patricia, Kai, Mya, Meuy and Lilly all came too. We got to have brunch and pet lots of animals.

There were baby ducks waddling around, several rabbits to pet.

The goat's name was Hershey, but Chase said she did not smell like Chocolate...

Chase got to make a bunny wind sock with mommy.

We all got to do an Easter Egg hunt, Kai showed Chase where the eggs where. After the hunt, everyone gathered around to check out all that they had found.

I on the other hand had words with a Rooster.... eh You clucking to me.... thats right I said you clucking to me...

Just a typical Sunday at Home

Usually start out the morning in the kitchen making pancakes. Copper likes to hang out and play around too. Baker is probably in the kitchen finishing up the leftover pancakes.

Grace likes my cooking, not quite like mom's pancakes but make believe pancakes aren't that bad!

Happy Valentine's Day

It isn't very often that Mom gets out from behind the camera. She is teaching Aunt Patricia on how to use the camera and we got an opportunity to take a family picture!

Aunt Patricia did awesome with these practice shots of mommy and me. I think I look more like mommy and Chase looks like daddy's little clone.

As with any photoshoot we do, you have to take about 100 oops photos to get the best one!

These came out great and Aunt Patricia I would hire you, how many cheerios does it cost?

Valentine's Day Chocolate Feast

My first School Portraits

I am lucky enough to have a mommy who like to take pictures and she has all the stuff to take my school photos at home.

I am a ham and love my photo to be taken. I often pose and say cheeeese for that special moment.

Today I am modeling my new school clothes and backpack. Elmo backpack Rocks! And I must say I am looking handsome. All the ladies at school are totally digging the Elmo backpack too.

In true toddler style, my playful side had to come out. At some point the posing and smiles give way to my true nature of playful and goofy.

During this time I had smashed my poor little finger in the sliding glass door. It left a nasty finger nail for months. I made sure I told everyone I had a boo boo and made this pouty face each time. Mom finally got to catch my bottom lip pout during the photoshoot.

Chase's 1st Day of Preschool

It was time I graduated from Grandma's Day Camp and move on to Preschool. I was a little nervous, but not as much as Mommy and Daddy. They took it much harder than I did.

Mom seriously I am 2 already, I am a big boy now... Geez I hope she doesn't do this when she drops me off everyday.

My first Day was Awesome. I got to play on the playground with all my new friends. I missed Grandma alot but she has Grace to keep her busy.

What!?! Tomatos don't grown in the Store

We go to the store every week with Mommy to do a little grocery shopping. It is Chase's favorite outing, the lady at the bakery gives him this round thing, he calls a cookie. Not sure really what those brown chunks are in there but he seems to really like them. Mom barely turns into the parking lot and he is yelling COOKIE, COOKIE Mommy.

The red balls mommy buys are called tomatos. Apparently they just don't magically appear at the store, they are grown in this stuff called DIRT. yuck-o Look at their hands, ugh. I will have none of that DIRT in my little hands. So I sat and watched with Grandma D.

After planting our little garden, Kai, Mya, and Chase went to swing off some of that dirty dirt.

Giddy Up COWboy

YeeHaw I am a COWboy, and so is Kai and Mya (she is a COWgirl) Mommy got us hippy hop cows to bounce on and these cows are fun! We bounce around for a long time, sometimes we do a cow parade and mom waves as we bounce by. Mommy got Grace one too, but she isn't exactly ready for it yet. Soon though, she is working out her legs on the bouncy.

Hanging out

Our weekends are usually pretty full with going places and having fun. This weekend we decided to just hang out and relax at home. This is Chase and my favorite time of night, watching Sprout with daddy.

I love it when Papa carries me around, hey papa when do I get to ride on your Harley! I am ready for a vacation, these 6 months have been rough.

Later that day mom got out from behind the camera to say cheese with her favorite daddy and us!

Sittin and a Cookin

Grace is 1/2 a year old and mommy wanted to celebrate with cooking something a little special for her. I thought it was an excellent idea, and I wanted to make her something to. This is usually how mommy gets to make dinner for us. She lets us smell all the spices and goodies she uses to make dinner. Maybe Grace and I will be chefs, since Construction doesn't look like it will be in our future.

After watching mommy make dinner, Grace and I headed to our kitchen to whip up something yummy to eat.

While I was cooking, Grace practiced sitting up. She is doing so good sitting all by herself, sometimes she falls over, but looking good today!

I am 6 months old and starting to get the hang of things. Starting to sit up on my own and putting anything I can get my hands on in my mouth. Well almost anything.... Mommy is trying to convince me that this pastey goop she calls baby food is good and yummy. Serious mom have you smelled the stuff you are trying to put in my mouth? The dog's toy taste better than this stuff

Alright enough is enough, no more of this stuff, I WANT MY BINKY!!! Ah much better.

Gingerbread House

We had so much fun at Christmas we forgot to try our hand at making a gingerbread house. So mom and Aunt Patricia opened it up just after New Years. Seriously how hard could it be, we are 4 kids and 2 adults, I am sure we can have no problems. Take a look at our handy work!

Ta-da! Doesn't our house look like the picture on the box! We all took our hands away and down it fell... guess we don't have careers in construction just yet. Maybe next years will be a little better, at least have one wall stand up.

The best park ever!!

We have a park that is the supreme awesome-st park ever. It is called SugarSand. There is a giant fort with tons of slides and fun things inside.

I sat back and relaxed in the stroller while Chase, Kai and Mya ran around with Aunt Patricia.

One of the other fun things they have is a carousel. I think I will be ready to ride it soon. Chase said it was super fun and got to pick which horse he wanted to ride.

HO HO Holy Pajamas

Do Not rub your eyes, you are seeing RED. Red Pajamas Mommy made for the whole family to wear! She gave them out Christmas Eve for us to sleep in and do all the Christmas Festivities the next morning.

Grace was so excited for her first Christmas, she couldn't wait to see what it was all about. Kai, Mya and I totally showed Grace what it was all about in the gift opening department. Even Mya showed her the best excited face. She totally nailed it.

The big gift of the year was a play kitchen for ME!! Well Grace and I really, we both love playing with it. Kai and Mya totally approve of this awesome gift from Santa. Later that day I decided to help mommy in her kitchen making some of Aunt Hazel's Famous Fudge. The best part was getting to lick the Spoon! Yummo I think Grace and I will keep a jar of this delicious Fluff in our Kitchen for mommy just in case she wants to make more fudge.

After all that gift opening we were all starving. So Mommy and a few of her helpers made us all breakfast. G-pa still hasn't graduated to the adult table yet, so he hung out with us at the kid table. Grace was exhausted after all the presents so she took a nap.

Pretty much the whole family decided to take a nap after that knock out breakfast.

The new pj's were so comfy that most of us all stayed in them all day long! Good job mommy, I can't wait to see what you come up with for next year! Better start now!

Here Comes Santa Claus...

Right to Grandma and Grandpa's house! He came on by to say hello and we all let him know that we have been very good boys and girls.

Well Grace didn't really want to say anything to him, she wasn't too happy to see him. I don't know why, he is so nice and seems familiar to me... hmm can't quiet figure it out but he reminds me of..... oh wait I need to tell him what I want for Christmas.

After getting our list Santa had to go on to see some other boys and girls, Mya and Kai ran to the front to see if they could see his reindeer. But before Santa left I saw mommy kissing Santa Claus! She must be thanking Santa for her new hairdo she debut that weekend!

After Santa took off we went back home and made some Christmas Ornaments. Chase thought the googley eye looked better on his nose!

Hello world,

Here I am in all my glory and playing Peek a Boo with you! These are pictures of me at 4 months! Just one month late posting them, but I have been still waking mommy up in the middle of the night to get a bottle.

She is starting to get a little batty, so I guess I will slowly ease into sleeping later and later.

Do you know that inside your mouth is a tongue, watch out I might stick it out at you.

I am also learning how to blow bubbles.

But watch you fingers around me, I am getting ready to get my first tooth. Wonder if I will be like Chase and get my first two at the same time. Oh I hope for mommy's sake that isn't the case.

I love having my picture taken, I smile for mommy anytime I can. She makes me giggle when she kisses my cheek.

I have the best big brother ever... he was concentrating so hard to hold me that he forgot to smile.

Pinkeye Christmas

Jeez wouldn't you know it when mommy wanted to take our family portrait I would wake up with PINKEYE! Yes I am only 6 months but this is my 3 case of PINKEYE. I don't think Chase has ever had pinkeye. Oh well Chase made sure to Ham it up on the photos so no one would notice my itchy little eye.

A few days later I was feeling much better and I let mommy take some sleigh pictures of me. I told Chase and the dogs they should be my reindeers but they wouldn't sit still long enough for mom to snap the picture. Maybe next year we can convince them.

So Chase tells me that mom has been holding on to this snowman costume for about 2 years, he claims it is a rite of passage to have to put it on for pictures. So I humored mommy and let her take one photo of me in it. Here is Chase 2 years before in it too!

We have a family tradition that is mommy's favorite. We always get a Christmas tree right after Thanksgiving. Give it a day or so to unfold and decorate.

This year is Grace's first experience. Dad secretly likes it too, but always puts up a fuss. I guess it doesn't help that mom makes him hold up every tree under the tent to see which one is "The One".

Thanksgiving Tree Decorating

We spent Thanksgiving with Nana and Papa. We all ate to much and had a great time. Our cousins Nick and Carson came on by to visit too.

Nana had put her tree up and Chase, Carson and Nick got to decorate it! All the ornaments were delicately place by the three boys. I (Grace) got to watch all the festivities while visiting with my Aunt Lindsay.

Mom snapped away at the camera and came close to getting all three boys in one spot, almost looking at her. She gave it a good effort, but they were too excited to decorate the tree.

The tree turned out beautifully, the bottom half was loaded with wonderful ornaments. The top half was a little bare, but Papa added a few later.

Carve me a Pumpkin...Wait I didn't mean Literally

We all headed out to the pumpkin patch to find the right pumpkin for us to carve out. Mommy and Aunt Patirica thought it would be an awesome photo to get all of us together at the patch.

But trying to get all of us to look at the camera, HAHAHA Good luck on that one mom!

Carving pumpkins is so much fun. You get to use a spoon to scoop out all this gooey gunk.

Even Aunt Patricia got into the spirit and carved a goofy pumpkin.

Little did Grace and I know that we would be sitting in them. Ugh do you see the picture above! Here are some more. We are sitting on a blanket inside, but man this thing is ewwwy gooey

Boo to you

Halloween was awesome this year. Mom made Grandma, Grandpa, and my costume this year and it was a huge hit! We went as Yo Gabba Gabba.... For those of you out of the loop here is a picture of them. It is one of my favorite tv shows on Nick Jr.

We went to a halloween spot that was suppose to have storyteller characters and princesses. But when we got there the line was so long, plus we got mobbed. All these people walked up to us asking to have there picture taken with us, I am not kidding! So we went to the mall and more of the same happened there. Grandpa was the star of the show, him and grandma were yelling "Yo Gabba Gabba" and waving to all the kids. Then a mall security officer told Grandpa he had to take his box mask off, so that ended that. But man we were superstars for a brief moment!

Kai was a transformer and Mya was a beautiful witch! They got lots of candy and we all were so tired when we got home.

The circus is in town

No this is not a family gathering, a real circus came to town. It was AWESOME and hot. Cole Bros. circus actually has a big top with animals, acrobats all under one hot sweaty tent. Guess that is there way to make sure you buy a lot of frosty drinks!

Kai and Mya came too. We got to see elephants, and camels..

Then they brought out this HUGE Cannon and shot a guy right out of it. Poor Grace was sleeping and it woke her right up. You can imagine she wasn't too happy. Especially since she woke up that morning with PINK EYE... yuck.

During intermission we started to goof around, here are our funny faces...

While we were making our funny faces, dad ran out to get us a funnel cake. Aunt Patricia thought hmmm funnel cake that sounds good, so dad offered her his and ran out to get another one. He made a pit stop and when he came out to get the second funnel cake the vender had closed up. The show had started again, he came back to the seats, and Aunt Patricia, Mya and I had eaten all the funnel cake. We then savored every last morsel of the powdered sugar.. yummo Dad the cake was good thanks!

Whoa I caught me a Marlin!!

Well a little brim at GG's and Gramps house in Lake Okeechobee. Back in September Gramps (great grandpa) celebrated his birthday. Our whole family was their to sing Happy Birthday to him. After cake we all went out fishing in their canal.

It was awesome, all 4 of us great grandkids caught fish. We had four generations all on the same seawall, Grandpa D says he has pictures of mommy fishing in the same spot when she was my age! Can you believe that mommy was my age, I don't believe it, I think she has always been old and my mommy.

Grace got into the action too. In fact she grabbed the fishing pole right away, Gramps said she was a natural.

Mya and Kai loved to catch the fish with their daddy. Uncle Scott looking good with the hair!

Gramps taught me everything I know about fishing. I tried to tell him that I would have better luck trying to spear the fish with the rod, but he showed me the ropes on how it is suppose to work. After all he is an experienced fisherman.

After my lesson with Gramps, I helped daddy catch a fish, I had to show him how it was done. He needed a little help, after all I am now an experienced fisherman. Thanks Gramps!

After fishing we took a little bike break and Grandpa started to dance with us when the Wiggles came on. Shake what your momma gave ya!

It was an awesome birthday party, we can't wait to have cake and do some more fishing.

Welcome to our new site

Hello World,

Well mom has finally done it. She made the switch from my website http://www.chasepowell.com/ to our new and improved site! I will still be updating the blog via mom, but now I have a copilot. Grace will be putting her two cents in too. Good luck mom. So in between changing diapers and bottle feedings, mom will be snapping pictures to keep our family and friends updated as to what is happening in our lives.

The old site will still be up and running for you all that want to take a look back at the last two years, but all new posts will be here.
